25 pieces of glass on the desk, 25 pieces of glass....
I got around to finding and picking up all the pieces of glass from the lamp, and I was bored, so I decided to start putting them together, just to see if I could. I like challenges like that, stuff that no one in their right mind would try. Most people would have just trashed the glass.
An hour later, I had managed to get all the pieces together again, except there was a small section unaccounted for. So another search of the desk found one more piece, which filled in the remaining gap. Solved the puzzle, yay! And I didn't cut myself either, yay again!
So now I've got a 2 inch disk of glass sitting on my desk, and a halogen lamp I can't (safely) use anymore. What to do with each? I was quite fond of the lamp, maybe I can find a replacement one of the same model somewhere. I like how the glass looks, all broken up and stuff. It'd make a neat little coaster or something, if it were one piece. I think I'll keep it still, though.
