Merry Christmas (or whatever you do or don't celebrate) everyone!
Yesterday I was scheduled to work 10AM til 4PM, but I opted to go in with Malinda at 8 since it'd be easier for my mom to drop us both off at the same time (and so at 4 I wouldn't have to wait 30 minutes for Malinda to get off before we got picked up). Well, upon arriving at work, I wasn't feeling too great. No, it wasn't the slight flu crud I have left, it was more of a headache that randomly was making me dizzy. I had a little stomach ache too, but a soda took care of that.
I ended up working 4.5 hours, then going home. I was originally scheduled to work 6 so that wasn't completely bad. Plus they didn't really need me yesterday, it was somewhat slow. In those 4.5 hours, Malinda and I cleared a whole section in the back room so we could clear the hallway. 152 EASTER boxes came yesterday and we needed to clear those. We got everything done despite my dizzy spells. After I got home, I went straight to bed.
Got up at 5 (instead of 4:30 that Steve was supposed to wake me up at but forgot) and got ready for the party. Everyone that moved out from my house (well, except a certain cousin, which is kind of a 'duh' thing) showed up, it was nice to see everyone again. The evening was just nice, and it didn't have the dead, stale feeling Thanksgiving had.
At home after the party, since it was pretty much past midnight, everyone decided to hand out cards and presents and whatnot. I wasn't expecting any gifts, but Rob and FBI (that's what we call Rob's GF btw) got me a nice Old Navy Shirt (one that I'll actually wear, wow!), and Jun got me the Family Guy Volume 1 DVD. I also got handed cards from my aunts and from my grandparents.
Didn't feel like sleeping just yet, and I found out the San Jose Holiday Parade was on TV, so I watched that for a while, then went to bed. Today I slept in til about 3:30, and the rest of the night is going to be spent on finishing something I should have finished drawing a long time ago, and then nothing because I have no other plans for anything tonight.
