I finally got around to updating my website a bit. Well, actually no, scratch that. I won't call it an update, because I didn't really put anything new up just yet. That'll come soon though. Today, I fiddled with a few things, took down some stuff that's been up there that I have been reminding myself to take down, changed a few things, and whatnot. I also started uploading pictures that I should have gotten up a long time ago, starting with my pics from the 2002 Pride Parade upon nudging by a purplecat (thanks, I really needed a push to get started). Next up are the small handful of pics from the FC picnic last year and this year, then FC pics from last year and this year. After those are done, or maybe inbetween sets, I'll work on scanning and uploading other stuff. It's going to take me a few days though.

I'll save my post about work for tomorrow, as I'm a bit too tired and sore to do it right now.

Inventory fun

Yesterday consisted of more stocking the floor to deplete the back stockroom for the inventory, and more moving boxes. We did that for the first 3.5 hours of work, then got started on the backroom inventory. More climbing on dangerously wobbly ladders that move when you climb them, and moving boxes around. We got started on the top shelf because it'd be easier to get rid of them first, even though there were a lot of packed heavy boxes up there yet again.

Most of it was Luau stuff that the manager didn't even remember was in stock hidden somewhere. Fun. We had to count every item and pack things back up on top the shelf again. Got half of the top shelf inventory done, so we're going to do the other half tomorrow. It's going faster than we thought it would. :)

Hmm, I also found out my schedule for the next few days. I was asked to come in today, but the boss later changed his mind. Why? I'm working Friday-Monday. Here's my schedule:

Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Saturday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Sunday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Monday 4:00PM - 12:30AM

Sunday I might have to get changed to afternoon, else I might not have a ride. Whee, Monday's going to suck. That's when the store closes at 7 and the rest of the night is when the people do the complete store inventory. We have to be there to do random audits to make sure they do their job right. The boss said he'd send me and Rommel home as early as possible that night. When the inventory is done, it's not necessary for us to be there anymore, as he'll just spend a bit of time filling out the paperwork. But he can't make any promises, which is why we're scheduled till 12:30AM.

At least I'll have a nice paycheck again. :D
