Feb. 17th, 2003 11:25 pmYay, I can log into Transfur again, so I'll probably update tomorrow if I'm not feeling lazy.
Not much else on my mind to talk about, so I'll just bitch about Wal-Mart a bit. On Thursday, Steve took the bus to Wal-mart to pick up a few things needed around the house, and also went to Food-4-Less since they're almost right next to each other. My mom couldn't drive him cause she was still feeling crappy. Since there's a McDonalds in our local Wal-mart now, Grandma gave Steve some money to buy food for everyone at the house.
Long story short, they jacked up the prices on everything at Wal-mart McDonalds. $2 for the $0.99 menu items and everything else was more expensive as well. If he hadn't been taking the bus and if it weren't raining, Steve could have gone to the Chevron/McDonalds that's on the street corner and closer to home than Wal-mart and saved some $. Things suck around here sometimes, don't they? I wonder why they jacked up the prices; this came recently, cause they weren't this high last time.
