Something's not right

I got out of bed at 7:30PM today. Right now as I'm sitting here awake, I have the most horrible feeling inside me and it's not going away. It's like I'm involved in something really bad and I feel guilty for it, but I don't know what it is or why. It's both unnerving and scaring me right now. Something's not right.

Resistance is futile

I was just thinking a while ago..

You know those wearable computers? The ones that can be worn like on a belt or something and come with a little tiny thing you look in, everything attached and hanging from your waist? What if those eventually became the new standard for computers, advancing to the point that they take the place of desktops and laptops? So imagine if everyone had those. Basically everyone would have a computer with them 24/7 as they go about their daily tasks. Now take wireless networking. Connect all of these wearable computers to a vast wireless network, bring everyone together and keep expanding the network, adding more and more people. Eventually almost all communication will take place through computer across this network, anyone able to contact anyone else, anywhere, or anytime. Everyone would be connected to everyone else at all times, and as the network expanded, more and more people would be introduced to this way of life.

Holy crap we're turning into the Borg.
